I am a Lecturer in the Department of Physics at the University of Ghana and a theoretical nuclear physicist. I earned a PhD in Theoretical Nuclear Physics from Université de Caen Normandie, France, as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND Fellow within the CEA NUMERICS doctoral programme. Prior to this, I completed an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's in Nuclear Physics across universities in Spain, Italy, and France.

My research focuses on superheavy-element synthesis, nuclear reaction modelling, uncertainty quantification, and scientific computing. I study heavy-ion reactions and compound-nucleus formation, and contribute to the development of the KEWPIE3 code for fusion-evaporation reaction studies. My interests also include scientific software development, data science, machine learning, and data engineering.

Superheavy-Element Synthesis

Research on the reaction mechanisms governing the synthesis of superheavy elements, including heavy-ion fusion, compound-nucleus formation, and uncertainty quantification in reaction models.
